My intention is to offer a safe, therapeutic environment, that allows the opportunity to explore your own life and create room for healing. By allowing this space, I believe individuals can begin to develop a greater understanding of themselves and ultimately find more peace and happiness. The way in which I work is to carefully listen to your unique story. Together we will discuss your needs, desires and goals. At times sessions will naturally take shape as they unfold and themes emerge. We may also develop a concrete treatment approach where you will learn coping skills and tools for change or managing your mood, pain or life. I take a holistic approach and believe it is important to attend to the mind, body and spirit in reaching optimal health and happiness. I bring curiosity and tools of mindfulness. Often I will help someone tune into what is happening in the here and now. We will work to improve awareness of one’s thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations.
